My favorite attraction at Disneyland is the Enchanted Tiki Room. I worked in a bar a few years ago as cocktail waitress, and my favorite part was that it looked like the Tiki Room and even the windows looked like rain was falling outside. The other room of the bar was called the “Astro Lounge” and was very reminiscent of 1950’s Tomorrowland.
With all this talk of a house, (and the boyfriend is putting an offer on the place today btw) I have been planning a tiki bar. We are both so stoked that we are going to be able to entertain in swank, kitschy style.
